The Unit will perform the following activities:-

  1. Implementation of IT and e-government  policy;
  2. Develop and coordinate integrate management information system for the commission;
  3. Maintenance and installing of hardware and software;
  4. Coordinate and provide support on procurement purchase of software and hardware in the commission;
  5. Managing LAN and WAN network;
  6. Carryout studies and propose areas of using IT as an instruments to improve service delivery to the whole commission;
  7. Establish, maintain and Upgrading of Database Management System for Cooperative Societies data;
  8. Training users on any matters concerning ICT;
  9. Ensuring the Data integrity and Security in an Organization;
  10. Website designing, administration and development.
